The Future of WeatherBot: Gemini AI, TensorFlow, and Our Own Weather Station
We're building something that's never been done before in prediction market trading. While most bots rely solely on public weather APIs, we're taking WeatherBot to an entirely different level โ one where we own the data pipeline from the physical sensors all the way to the trade execution.
WeatherBot Ground Station โ Austin, Texas
We are currently constructing a dedicated weather measurement facility in Austin, Texas. This isn't a hobby setup โ we're installing professional-grade meteorological instruments including high-precision thermometers, barometric pressure sensors, anemometers, rain gauges, and humidity sensors calibrated to WMO standards.
Why does this matter? Because Polymarket weather markets resolve based on Weather Underground station data โ and those stations have known biases. Urban heat islands, sensor placement, calibration drift. By operating our own station and cross-referencing with Weather Underground readings, we can model the exact discrepancy between forecast models and the actual resolution data. That's an edge nobody else has.
Target operational date: Q3 2026
Google Gemini AI Integration
We're integrating Google Gemini as a second AI brain alongside Claude. Gemini will independently analyze the same markets, and WeatherBot will cross-reference both AI opinions before executing trades. When Claude and Gemini agree, confidence is highest. When they disagree, the bot flags the trade for review. Two world-class AI models are better than one.
Google TensorFlow โ Live Analytical Engine
We're building a custom TensorFlow neural network trained on 5+ years of historical weather data paired with Polymarket resolution outcomes. This model will learn the patterns that traditional weather models miss โ like how Weather Underground station readings consistently differ from official forecasts in specific cities, or how certain weather patterns lead to larger-than-expected temperature swings. The TensorFlow engine will run in real-time, providing a third independent probability estimate alongside the traditional forecast models and AI analysis.
